Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. Using a small handheld tool with tiny needles deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin, creating natural-looking hair-like strokes that mimic the appearance of real eyebrow hair.
The process begins with a consultation with our Brow Specialist at UEMspa, during which the shape and color of the eyebrows are discussed and determined based on the client’s facial features and preferences. Numbing cream is then applied to the area to minimize any discomfort. Then our artist uses the handheld tool to create fine, precise incisions in the skin and deposits the pigment. The strokes are carefully drawn to follow the natural growth pattern of the existing eyebrow hair.
Microblading is often sought after by individuals looking to fill in sparse eyebrows, improve their shape, or create a more defined arch. The results can last anywhere from six months to three years, depending on various factors such as skin type, aftercare, and sun exposure. Touch-up sessions may be required to maintain the desired appearance.
